1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the TDL Operations Command system ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

The Service is provided for use with Arma Reforger and the Tactical Data Link (TDL) modification. Your use of this Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. User Generated Content (UGC)

2.1 Content Types

Users may upload and process image files, and create or manage map-related data, through the Service. The following content types are permitted:

  • Image files in standard formats (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WebP)
  • Content related to Arma Reforger gameplay and operations
  • Military/tactical imagery for in-game use
  • User-created graphics and visual assets
  • Map metadata, layers, and user-placed markers for tactical planning
  • Marker and position data synced with game servers using the TDL mod

2.2 Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal content or content that violates applicable laws
  • Copyrighted material without proper authorization
  • Explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Content that promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Malicious files, viruses, or code intended to harm systems
  • Personal information of others without consent

2.3 Content Processing and Moderation

By uploading content, you grant the Service permission to:

  • Process, resize, and quantize images for use with the TDL mod
  • Store processed image data and map/marker data in cloud storage systems
  • Transmit processed data to clients utilizing the TDL mod
  • Maintain processed data for operational purposes

Image uploads may be subject to automated content moderation. Content that is flagged may be rejected or removed in accordance with these Terms.

2.4 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your uploaded content. However, by uploading content, you represent and warrant that you have the right to upload, process, and distribute such content, and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

2.5 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or that we determine to be harmful, offensive, or inappropriate. Users may delete their own content at any time through the Service interface.

3. Data Storage

3.1 Storage Location

Processed image data is stored in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage systems. Data may be stored in data centers located in various geographic regions as determined by the storage provider.

3.2 Data Retention

Processed image data will be retained until:

  • You explicitly delete the content through the Service
  • Content is removed for violation of these Terms
  • Your account is terminated or deactivated
  • We determine retention is no longer necessary for operational purposes

3.3 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect stored data. However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you upload content at your own risk and that we cannot guarantee absolute security of stored data.

3.4 Data Backup

While we make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your original content. We are not liable for data loss, corruption, or unavailability.

4. Data Transmission

4.1 Transmission Methods

Processed image data may be transmitted through:

  • HTTPS/SSL encrypted connections
  • API endpoints for client access
  • Direct download links for processed data
  • Integration with Arma Reforger TDL mod clients

4.2 Transmission Security

All data transmissions utilize encrypted protocols to protect data in transit. However, you acknowledge that transmission over the internet carries inherent risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security during transmission.

4.3 Third-Party Transmission

Data may be transmitted through third-party services and networks. We are not responsible for the security practices of third-party transmission services, though we select providers with strong security standards.

4.4 Bandwidth and Usage

You are responsible for any bandwidth costs associated with uploading, downloading, or accessing data through the Service. We reserve the right to implement usage limits or throttling to ensure fair use of the Service.

5. TDL Mod Communication

5.1 Client-Server Communication

The Service facilitates communication between:

  • The TDL Operations Command web application
  • Arma Reforger game servers utilizing the TDL mod
  • Client applications running the TDL mod
  • Cloud storage and processing systems

5.2 API Access and Usage

The Service provides API endpoints for programmatic access to functionality and data. By using the API, you agree to the following terms:

  • API access requires valid authentication credentials (API keys)
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your API keys
  • You must not share, expose, or publish your API keys in publicly accessible locations
  • You are responsible for all actions taken using your API keys
  • You must immediately revoke and regenerate API keys if they are compromised

5.2.1 API Rate Limits and Fair Use

API usage is subject to rate limits and fair use policies:

  • You must comply with any rate limits imposed on API endpoints
  • Excessive or abusive API usage may result in throttling or suspension of access
  • You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API infrastructure
  • We reserve the right to modify rate limits at any time to ensure service stability

5.2.2 Acceptable API Use

The API may only be used for:

  • Legitimate integration with Arma Reforger game servers running the TDL mod
  • Accessing and managing your own server configurations and data
  • Retrieving processed image data for use with the TDL mod
  • Submitting server state, events, and heartbeats from integrated game servers

5.2.3 Prohibited API Use

The following API uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Accessing or modifying data belonging to other users or servers without authorization
  • Using the API to scrape, harvest, or collect data beyond your authorized scope
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the API implementation
  • Using the API to interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' access
  • Automated abuse, spam, or any activity that degrades service performance
  • Reselling, redistributing, or commercializing API access without authorization

5.2.4 API Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, deprecate, or discontinue API endpoints at any time. While we strive to maintain API stability, we do not guarantee backward compatibility. You are responsible for updating your integrations when API changes occur. We will provide reasonable notice of breaking changes when possible.

5.3 Server Integration

The Service supports integration with Arma Reforger game servers through the TDL mod. By integrating a server with the Service, you agree to the following:

5.3.1 Integration Requirements

To integrate a server with the Service:

  • You must have proper authorization to manage the game server
  • You must obtain and securely configure a valid API key for the server
  • You must ensure the server is running a compatible version of the TDL mod
  • You are responsible for maintaining the integration and updating it as needed

5.3.2 Server Data and State

When integrating a server, the Service may collect and store:

  • Server metadata (name, status, player counts, network counts, device counts)
  • Network and device state snapshots
  • Event logs and activity data
  • Command queue items and execution history

By integrating a server, you grant the Service permission to:

  • Store and process server state data for operational purposes
  • Transmit commands and configuration updates to your server
  • Maintain historical records of server activity
  • Display server information in the web dashboard

5.3.3 Server Administrator Responsibilities

As a server administrator, you are responsible for:

  • Managing access to your server configuration and API keys
  • Ensuring your server complies with these Terms and applicable laws
  • Monitoring server activity and responding to issues promptly
  • Maintaining the security of your server and API credentials
  • Removing or updating integrations when you no longer have authorization

5.3.4 Server Access and Permissions

Server integration features include:

  • Server owners may grant access to other users through invitation codes
  • Multiple API keys may be issued for a single server to support multiple administrators
  • Server owners have full control over server configuration and access management
  • Access may be revoked at any time by the server owner

5.3.5 Service Availability for Servers

While we strive to maintain high availability, integrated servers may experience interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any impact on server operations resulting from Service unavailability. You should implement appropriate fallback mechanisms in your server integration.

5.4 Mod Integration

By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Processed data is intended for use with the Arma Reforger TDL mod
  • The Service is not affiliated with Bohemia Interactive or Arma Reforger
  • Use of the TDL mod is subject to its own terms and conditions
  • We are not responsible for mod functionality or game compatibility

5.5 Data Format

Processed images are converted to a quantized format optimized for the TDL mod. This includes palette extraction, pixel indexing, and base64 encoding. The format is designed for efficient transmission and rendering within the game environment.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Ensuring uploaded content complies with these Terms
  • Respecting intellectual property rights
  • Using the Service in a lawful manner
  • Not attempting to disrupt or compromise the Service
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
